It doesn't appear long back that Amazon kindle was first launched. It is currently in it's 3rd distinct model and also the 4th model just around the corner. Amazon kindle 4 offers to feature a full color display, but at exactly what price? Unquestionably, most people need a Kindle to read regular paperback textbooks, in which a basic black and white display would be sufficient.
I simply ponder just how many consumers may want to invest that additional cash in a color digital ebook reader?
I personally love to read comics and graphical novels and so a color portable ebook reader would be pretty neat, having said that I do think I'd personally be a little more willing to invest some extra money and simply purchase the Ipad instead. A very important factor is beyond doubt, once the Amazon Kindle 4 release date is actually anounced you may expect Kindle 3 to decrease in value a lot. It's possible that it would be best to simply just obtain a Kindle 3 as soon as the new kindle 4 is actually unveiled and conserve some funds. Until then I could just go in for an ipad, then again The rumour is that ipad two is actually coming very soon!
In this day and age when technological innovation is really fast moving, it's hard to really know what to get! Anything you buy now will cost significantly less in a couple of months into the future. However, if you wait around three months to buy, then there will always be something different just around the corner.
I think Kindle four would be a great investment based on two things. Firstly the purchase price and secondly the size of the display. Full color isn't that tempting if the display is not very large. Preferably Amazon will get it right!
